Hello everyone. I recently read, well listened to, this new expansion of the  Star Wars universe. I will be sure to not spoil anything!

I use Audible for all my listening needs. The book on audible was a hair over 7 hours long. Nice and short but still packed a huge story. The book is narrated by Ashley Eckstein, which actually does the voice for Ahsoka in the Cartoon Network series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. So it was nice to actually hear the voice of Ahsoka narrate the book.

This story reminded me a lot of the star wars book Star Wars: Kenobi. This book takes place after Revenge Of The Sith but happens before Star Wars: Rebels. Without spoiling the book for everyone, Ahsoka is basically alone. She feels regret and sadness about order 66. She tries to distance herself from the force because she abandoned the Jedi. The story is about Ahsoka finding who she really is and trying to be that person.

She really starts to understand the concept of the Gray Jedi. The Gray Jedi is someone who basically knows that you cannot have too much light, but you also cannot be too dark. Finding the balance is essential and it’s a struggle Ahsoka learns to deal with. Completely abandoning the force she manages to continually get herself into trouble with the new empire. The force has a mind of its own and Ahsoka must learn to put her trust back into it.

Overall a very good book. Definitely worth the read. Go grab yourself a copy or check it out on audible. If your new to audible your first book is free. Here is a link that will take you right to it!
